The Dish on “Mac” MacNeice

Erasing Memory The Ambitious City

CURRICULUM VITAE
“Mac” MacNeice
Homicide Detective Superintendent

Home Base: Dundurn, Ontario

Passions: Jazz, opera, e. e. cummings, ornithology, photography and a shot or two of good grappa before bed.

Style: Observational. MacNeice’s sharp powers of observation are always engaged, even when chatting with his partner back at the office: “Sitting at your computer just now, I noticed the wear on the desk where you put your hands every day. I noticed the imprint from a ballpoint pen where you’ve written letters and signed cheques on the soft wood—white pine, I think. . . . There’s a slight whitening on the edge of the desk where I suspect you rub your right hand when it’s itchy or numb from working at the keyboard—but not your left, because you’re right handed.”

Last case: Still mourning his wife, a violinist who died of cancer three years prior, MacNeice was faced with the grisly murder of another young violinist, in Erasing Memory.

The partner: Doctor of Criminology Fiza Aziz is a smart, beautiful junior detective who proved her abilities in Erasing Memory, making MacNeice take notice professionally, and personally. After a rough case, and an offer to teach at a university, Aziz left the team and MacNeice behind. The Ambitious City, available May 8th, marks the return of Aziz, who will help MacNeice handle a city scandal and a killer whose sights are set on her.

I am confused, the first book Erasing Memory has limited formats ~NO AUDIO VERSION~! The 2nd title The Ambitious City [Paperback]Out of Print–Limited Availability. AGAIN ~NO AUDIO VERSION~! What’s Up With That?? (Info gathered from Amazon.Com)

The review given by Halina Pashkievich – Editorial Intern had me hooked. Now I’m confused & disappointed. Let me know if either title will ever be formatted for Audio down here in the States, Thanks.

Unfortunately, these two titles are not available for sale in the United States. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

Maybe you could try Amazon.ca and order from their website. There are currently no audio books available at this time in the US or Canada.
